Our journey to create a healthy and delicious snack began in the beautiful country of Peru, a land known for its vibrant culture, breathtaking landscapes, and most importantly, its incredible soil and cuisine.
Our founders wanted to create a snack that not only satisfied the taste buds but also nourished the body. They saw a lack of crunchy yet appetizing snacks that could be vegan and gluten free, thus the idea of TruMunch® was born.
With a passion for wholesome ingredients and a commitment to creating the perfect snack, our founders worked tirelessly to bring their vision to life. They experimented with various recipes and flavors, aiming to strike the perfect balance between taste and nutrition while maintaining the crunch we all crave in a snack.
Finally, after countless taste tests, TruMunch® snacks made with only natural ingredients that are free of additives and preservatives were born, and enjoyed by consumers in multiple countries, such as: Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Panama, Trinidad & Tobago and Venezuela.

Peanuts
Our peanuts are not just energy boosting, but also satisfyingly crunchy; they're a powerhouse of plant-based protein, heart-healthy fats, and essential vitamins and minerals. This nutrient-rich nut is known for assisting in healthy weight management, and slowing down the digestive process to sustain energy in order to keep you fueled and focused throughout your day.
Fos
Popular natural dietary fiber and sweetener FOS (fructooligosaccharides) is full of prebiotic effects that help increase the overall gastrointestinal tract health. It is naturally extracted from the blue agave plant, chicory root as well as many vegetables and fruits and added to foods as a dietary supplement because of its high fiber content.
Amaranth
Known as a wonder grain, the amaranth is a Peruvian superfood that grows in the fertile farmlands of the Andes. Cultivated for over 4000 years, this gluten free seed, also known as kiwicha has been farmed for its proven health and nutritional benefits. It is high in fiber, protein, iron, calcium, phosphorus and zinc among others.
Peruvian Cocoa
The cocoa tree grows in a limited geographical area of the Peruvian rainforest at about 20 degrees to the north and south of the equator between 300 to 900 meters above sea level. The Peruvian superfood is known for its richness in flavor and amazing quality. This Peruvian Cocoa offers important health benefits and it’s the highest plant- based source of iron, magnesium, calcium and antioxidants in the planet.
Raw Cane Sugar
Widely used in Latin and Central America, Panela is pure unrefined whole sugarcane derived from the evaporation process of raw sugarcane juice. Because it isn’t chemically processed, it is more useful to the body and higher in vitamins, antioxidants and minerals than refined sugar.
Maras Pink Salt
In the Sacred Valley of Peru, thousands of individual salt pools can be found on a hillside dating back to Inca times. Fed by a subterranean stream that flows through an intricate system of channels, the ponds are filled with salt water and later left to dry. The inhabitants of Maras and Pichingoto that inherited the pools from their ancestors carefully scrape the crystalized salt into piles, and then load the bags that are carried off for sale. Maras Pink salt is well renowned across the world for its great quality and health benefits.
